The Electrical, Automation & Industrial IT section within the Life Science business area is now looking for an IT/OT Engineer who wants to help secure the future of the industry within Life Science?

About the Role

As an IT/OT Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation and availability of IT systems, supporting production-related OT systems, and resolving IT-related issues affecting manufacturing. You will implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions for both IT and OT, integrate data flows between IT and OT, and develop interfaces for real-time data. Additionally, you will administer systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with vendors on complex issues. You will also drive improvement projects and introduce new technologies, which may involve travel.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A technical degree at the university level in computer science or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in OT, preferably from pharmaceutical production
• Good understanding of IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity
• Proficient in Swedish and English (spoken & written)

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of GMP
• Experience in Life Science, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, healthcare, nuclear power, or other regulated industries
• Documented experience with PLC/DCS systems (e.g., Siemens PCS7, ABB 800xA, Rockwell 5000, or DeltaV) and/or SCADA systems (Wonderware, WinCC, ABB)
• Documented experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, or similar)
